Dr. Ronald Alexander, PhD is a leading Executive and Leadership Coach, and Communication and Creativity Consultant with a private psychotherapy practice in Santa Monica, California. His extensive training includes conflict management, Gestalt therapy, leadership and organizational development and pioneered the early values and vision based models for current day leadership and professional coaching. He studied with and was influenced by noted leaders in these fields such as Ken Blanchard, Warren Bennis, Umberto Materana and Francesco Variela and over 34 years ago was one of the early leaders in the field of coaching and training. Dr. Alexander specializes in Mind-Body therapies and has been studying and teaching Mindfulness Meditation, Creative Visualization and Transpersonal Psychology since 1970. He is a pioneer in combining Eastern and Western techniques that support strategies of personal and corporate excellence including creativity, leadership skills, communication and conflict resolution.

Ronald A. Alexander, PhD MFT a psychotherapist, leadership consultant and clinical trainer is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of California and Colorado (CA Lic. #MFC7707 & CO Lic. #253). He is a seminar leader and conducts training's for professionals nationally and internationally in Mindfulness Based Mind-Body Therapies, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Meditation and Psychotherapy. He personally trained with Milton H. Erickson, Ernest Rossi, and Steven Gilligan in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy as well as with Daniel P. Brown of the Harvard Medical Cambridge Hospital professional training's seminars in hypnosis and hypno-analysis. He was trained and certified by the Los Angeles Gestalt Therapy Institute and with Erving and Miriam Polster PhD of the Gestalt Training Center of La Jolla. He also received training and supervision in psychoanalytic Self-Psychology, Relational and Object Relations Therapies. He is an associate member of the American Psychological Association and a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Dr. Alexander conducts ongoing groups and seminars and is available for individual consultation in these areas. He consults and teaches Mindful Zen and the Art of Leadership (East-West approach to leadership training) for small family-owned businesses, and the television, music and film industries as well as privately coaches organizations, executives and entrepreneurs. |
