The training and supervision groups will concentrate on developing clinical skills utilizing case consultations, clinical demonstrations and supervised therapist/client dyads.
Major areas of clinical emphasis include:
- Gestalt Therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy and Ericksonian Mind-Body Healing Therapies.
- Self-psychology, intersubjectivity and relational dialogues.
- Exploring the contact boundary, its therapeutic functions and healing dialogue.
- Identification and resolution of transference and counter transference treatment issues.
- Accessing internal resources and tracking process.
- Utilization of the unconscious for the healing of trauma.
- Somatic resolution and energy therapies for the resolution of neurobiological disorders.
- Metaphors, frames and creative orientations in Mind-Body healing therapy.
